Opportunity to play with AR Echo
[ January 6, 2018 ]
It's unfortunate that there has been so much bad press lately about
firearms. Then again, it's so easy for the press to focus on
the negative aspects of life instead of the positive (bright) side
of life. Now the press is suppose to be objective in it's
reporting, but you can't help but notice an agenda behind the
message. So much for objectivity. As for me, firearms
don't go walking around killing people. Last I saw, there were
two arms, two legs, and a brain in between that pulls the
trigger. Now when it comes to whether the grey matter can
distinguish reality from fiction, that's a whole other story.
There are a lot of people that claim a lot of things, but in the end
there has to be a finger on that trigger in order to set th firearm
off.
Regardless, the topic here is not about politics. It is an
opportunity I had to play with a FosTecH Echo trigger group in an
AR-15 (what I dub an AR15-E). I've shot plenty of firearms in
the past but nothing like an Echo. I've had my fair share of
45ACP, 223 single, 308, 338 Lapua, and the dubious 50 cal. If
only for just a fun couple of hours. One thing is for sure, I
can't hit anything worth beans.
