[ March 28, 2021 ] It has been said, "Sometimes you have to stop and smell the roses." Indeed. We all should stop and smell the roses. However, in this case it's literal instead of anecdotal. In this instance, I can't help but stop in my tracks and admire what nature is able to provide. For what nature says is a defect, it's
looks pretty amazing. Perhaps perfection is not
quite what it's cracked up to be.
Here's another odd shaped rose. It's very cool looking. The below aren't roses, but it's definitely worth a look. Again, nature's masterful works. Cherry plumb I've never seen a red maple like this. You think it's in the process of ditching its leave, but no. It's really a red maple. Last but definitely not least. One of my most favorite trees .... a Japanese maple.
