No pictures, and no videos. It's just a matter of taking the 99
Fwy, the 58 Fwy, the 14 Fwy, Angeles Forest Hwy, and Angeles Crest Hwy
home. What can I say, the 99 Fwy is a pain, the 58 Fwy is
absolutely gorgeous, and the 14 Fwy was as windy as hell. Due to
the nature of the high winds, we ended up ditching the notion of riding
the 14 Fwy and ended up taking Sierra Hwy instead. This really
doesn't help regarding the windy situation, but at least we can
eliminate the traffic. It's already bad enough dealing with the
wind let alone wind and traffic together. If I get blown off, at
least I don't have to worry about a car running me over. The
minute we got on the Angeles Forest Hwy, we all sigh a sigh of
relief. Good. No more wind to contend with. Now it's
just a matter of putting on some clothes to stay warm and taking the
twisties home.
As a parting shot, the Captain whaps Nu in the head.
It's all over. Almost as quickly as it started. It was a
good 4 days with a lot of fond memories.
